You know what's awesome about being able to sew? Seeing simple, overpriced clothes in a shop that you know that you could whip up in an afternoon. Consider this:
A long, loose velvet camisole - genius! I love velvet, but it's hard to wear without being overdone. It would look great layered under a chunky sweater, with skinny jeans and boots.
