Collette Clover Cigarette Pants
Love this pattern. It was my first time making pants and, wouldn't you know it, I didn't even have to make any pattern adjustments.
Don't tell my husband about these new shoes, but aren't they awesome?
I made the pants out of some heavy cotton with a bit of lycra that I got online. I think that I could've actually gone down a size, but they're so comfortable as they are.
Next, I'm going to try them in wool. I really like Sarai's idea for lining these. And, yes, my photographer is 7 years old.

They look great, but I agree you could probably go down a size for the trim 50s look that Sarai aims for. I fully intend to buy this pattern and make it myself. I've never made pants for myself but I think it's time to attempt it!
ReplyDeleteI ended up going down one size after making my first clovers and was very happy with the outcome. They will still be comfy, but a bit more trim like Deb commented. Great fabric and shoes!
