Collette Clover Cigarette Pants

Love this pattern. It was my first time making pants and, wouldn't you know it, I didn't even have to make any pattern adjustments.

Don't tell my husband about these new shoes, but aren't they awesome?

I made the pants out of some heavy cotton with a bit of lycra that I got online. I think that I could've actually gone down a size, but they're so comfortable as they are.

Next, I'm going to try them in wool. I really like Sarai's idea for lining these. And, yes, my photographer is 7 years old.

  1. They look great, but I agree you could probably go down a size for the trim 50s look that Sarai aims for. I fully intend to buy this pattern and make it myself. I've never made pants for myself but I think it's time to attempt it!

  2. I ended up going down one size after making my first clovers and was very happy with the outcome. They will still be comfy, but a bit more trim like Deb commented. Great fabric and shoes!
